Anne Weldon has produced a photographic wall calendar to raise funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland Bessboro Day Care Centre in Cork since 2013. All the photographs are taken by her and include beautiful Irish landscape and nature images. The Calendar is printed in Cork by Cola Design+Print
Following the wonderful success with the addition of online sales in recent years – it is fantastic to be able to offer this facility again this year on our website.
Anne says:
“I initially started fundraising for The Alzheimer Society Day Care Centre, Bessboro having observed the wonderful caring environment and amazing support it provided to a close family friend on his long dementia journey. It was a safe haven with fantastic staff who treated all their clients like family. It was also a superb support to all his family and it made that long painful time more bearable. Over the following years this amazing service has continued to be provided for many many families In Bessboro and in other Day Care Centres all around the country. With the serious effects of Covid 19 since March 2020 – it is even more vital to raise much needed funds to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland this year.”
